Shipping policy
All orders are processed within 1 to 4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Local delivery
Free local delivery is available for orders over R450 within South Africa. For orders under R450, we charge R90 for local delivery.
Deliveries are made from 09:00 to 18:00 on Monday to Saturday. We will contact you via text message with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival.
In-store pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at Edenvale Johannesburg. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 5 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
Our in-store pickup hours are 14:00 to 17:00 on Monday to Friday except public holidays. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come. to collect
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 3-5 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at support@salot.co.za with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you, and update you.
Shipping to P.O. boxes
We do ship to P.O. Boxes -Section will be update as required for the clients information.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at support@salot.co.za with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

Please take note of the following important information regarding the delivery of goods:

Delivery Area: South African Lot Pty Ltd provides delivery services within the borders of South Africa only. Deliveries are made to physical addresses and cannot be sent to Post Boxes or post offices.

Accuracy of Delivery Details: It is crucial to ensure that all delivery details, including the postal code, are accurate. Any errors or inaccuracies in the delivery address may result in additional handling and shipping charges for which you will be held liable. Please double-check all information before placing your order.

Signature and Receipt of Goods: Please make sure that someone is available to sign for and receive the goods at the specified delivery address. If you are not personally available, you authorize another party at the delivery address to sign on your behalf. By doing so, you assign the right to sign without prejudice and without a proxy.

Non-Delivery Notification: If you have not received your goods within 24 hours after the expected delivery period, you must contact us within a maximum of 48 hours to report the non-delivery. Failure to notify us within this timeframe will be considered as an acknowledgment that you have received the purchased goods.

Delivery Restrictions: The delivery of products purchased through our online store is subject to the geographical delivery framework established by our courier partner. Certain locations, such as plots, farms, mines, military bases, major chain stores, power stations, game reserves and lodges, and harbours, may incur additional delivery costs or require special arrangements for delivery, storage, or return of the parcel. Please be aware of these potential restrictions when providing your delivery address.

Failed Delivery:
In the event of a failed delivery, meaning that no one was available at the specified delivery address to receive and sign for the goods during the scheduled delivery time, we will promptly notify you. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, resulting in missed deliveries.
We will make every effort to reschedule the delivery with you within 24 to 48 hours. However, please note that if a re-delivery is required, you may be responsible for any additional handling and shipping charges incurred.
Our aim is to ensure a successful delivery of your goods, and we appreciate your cooperation in making suitable arrangements to receive the package. If you have any questions or need assistance regarding a failed delivery, please feel free to contact us.
Goods shipped in error /Incorrect goods delivered:
In the event that you receive a delivery containing goods that do not match your order in terms of product type or quantity, we apologize for any inconvenience caused. It is important to us that you receive the correct items as per your waybill or purchase order.

Our team will promptly arrange for the incorrect goods to be collected, and we will ensure that the correct items are delivered to you as soon as possible.

Damaged Goods Delivered:
In the unfortunate event that you receive a damaged product, we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we aim to address this situation promptly.

Rest assured, we will make every effort to have the damaged product collected from you as soon as possible. Additionally, we will arrange for a new product to be delivered to you within a maximum of 48 hours on weekdays.

Price of Delivery:
The price of your delivery is automatically calculated and will be clearly displayed prior to the payment process. You can view the delivery cost in your shopping cart and at the checkout stage.
Please note that when making multiple product purchases, only the highest applicable delivery fee will be charged.
Important Delivery Periods to Note:
Our delivery service operates from Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 17:00, for both business and residential addresses. Please be aware that no deliveries are made on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
If you place your order before 12:00 on a Friday, your delivery will be scheduled for the next week, as deliveries do not take place on weekends. However, please keep in mind that certain outlying Delivery Areas, routes, and centers may experience a delay due to limited transportation availability in those locations.
Please be aware that our delivery service does not include installation. If you require installation for your purchased product, we can arrange it for you at an additional cost.
Self Collection Option:
Alternatively, you have the option to collect your order from your chosen South African Lot Pty Ltd dealer. However, prior written confirmation is necessary to ensure that the goods you ordered are ready for collection and that payment has been received.
Please note that the availability of delivery or collection is subject to the availability of the ordered item at the time of purchase.
